2.20.010 Participation of city – Employees included.
The city has elected and does elect to participate as a member of Statewide City Employees Retirement System for pension, relief, disability, and retirement for the employees of the city as provided by chapter 41.44 RCW. All employees and officials of the city shall be included in the system; provided, that no elective official shall be included unless the official so elects and files a written notice of such election with the board of trustees of the pension system and with the city clerk. 2.20.020 Number of employee members. Repealed by Ord. 786. [Ord. 242 § 2, 1968. Formerly 2.68.020.]
2.20.030 Transmission of evidence of election to participate.
A certified copy of Ordinance No. 242 shall be transmitted to the board of trustees of the statewide system as evidence of an election of the city to join such pension system. [Ord. 1135 § 2(5)(part), 1995; Ord. 242 § 3, 1968. Formerly 2.68.030.]
2.20.040 Basis for prior service credit.
The basis for prior service credit shall be one and thirty-three hundredths percent of final compensation known as “Full Prior Service Credit.” [Ord. 1135 § 2(5)(part), 1995; Ord. 242 § 4, 1968. Formerly 2.68.040.]
2.20.050 Basis for Social Security coverage.
The basis for Social Security coverage will be coordination. [Ord. 1135 § 2(5)(part), 1995; Ord. 242 § 5, 1968. Formerly 2.68.050.]
2.20.060 Basis for contribution.
The basis for contribution shall be full compensation. [Ord. 1135 § 2(5)(part), 1995; Ord. 242 § 6, 1968. Formerly 2.68.060.]
