OFFENSES BY OR AGAINST PUBLIC OFFICERS AND GOVERNMENT

9.08.010 Aiding escape from custody.

Any person who aids or assists any person in the custody of any policeman, peace officer, sheriff or sheriff’s deputy to escape or attempt to escape from such custody is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Prior code § 9.01.060)

9.08.020 Resisting arrest.

A person is guilty of resisting arrest if he intentionally permits or attempts to prevent a peace officer from lawfully arresting him. Resisting is a misdemeanor. (Ord. 86-3 New Ords. (part))

9.08.030 Obstructing a public servant.

Every person who knowingly makes an untrue statement to a public servant or knowingly hinders, delays or obstructs any public servant in the discharge of his official powers or duties is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 86-3 New Ords. (part))
