PAYMENT OF CITY OBLIGATIONS

Payment of claims or payroll of the city, which are payable out of solvent funds, may be paid by either warrant or bank check; provided, that no check shall be issued when the applicable fund is not solvent at the time payment is ordered, but a warrant shall be issued therefor. 3.17.020 Designated banks.
When the bank checks are to be used, they shall be drawn on one of the following banks:
First Interstate Bank of Washington;
Frontier Bank;
Peoples National Bank;
Rainier National Bank;
Seattle First National Bank. (Ord. 1373-87 § 2, 1987)
3.17.030 Officers authorized.
Officers authorized or required to sign checks issued for the payment of claims or payroll are the mayor and city clerk. (Ord. 1373-87 § 3, 1987)
