46.12.010 Vehicles entering arterial to yield right-of-way.

The operator of any motor vehicle entering upon any arterial highway or street in the city from a public or private highway, road, streetway, or driveway, shall yield the right-of-way to vehicles on such arterial highway or street and shall come to a full stop thereon when and where signs, posts or other markers so direct or indicate, or shall yield the right-of-way when and where signs, posts or other markers so direct or indicate. All portions of state highways, together with all temporary detours thereof within the limits of the city, are designated as arterial highways within the city, together with such other highways, roads or streets as may be from time to time hereafter determined upon by the city council and designated and filed as provided by the laws of the state.
