9.40.020 Exceptions for unusable pistols.
This chapter shall not apply to antique pistols unsuitable for use as firearms and possessed as collectors’ items, curiosities or ornaments. [Ord. 677 § 26, 2008.]
9.40.030 Discharging firearms within City limits.
No person within the limits of the City of Everson shall use or attempt to use, or discharge or attempt to discharge, any shotgun, rifle, revolver, pistol, firearm, air gun, or any other instrument or contrivance commonly known as a slingshot; provided, that the provisions of this chapter shall not be deemed to apply to trap shooting by any regularly organized gun club, which shall have first obtained a written permit to shoot from the City Council. Violation of this section is a simple misdemeanor. [Ord. 691 § 6, 2009; Ord. 677 § 26, 2008.]
