INVESTMENT OF FUNDS

3.40.010 Authority.
Pursuant to Chapter 218, Laws of State of Washington 1981, Regular Session, the city council of the city of Forks hereby authorizes the city clerk/treasurer to utilize all or any portion of the income derived from the investment of city funds since August 1, 1981, for the benefit of the current expense fund of the city of Forks as the clerk/treasurer deems necessary; provided, that funds derived from the sale of general obligation bonds or revenue bonds or similar instruments of indebtedness shall be invested or used in such manner as the initiating ordinances, resolutions or bond covenants may lawfully prescribe.
