Every fireman during any fire shall have all the powers of a policeman. Firemen may prevent persons, other than firemen, except the fire chief or his officers, owners of property or goods and their employees, interested in the removal of property, from coming into that portion of the city that may interfere with the firemen in the discharge of their duty. Firemen are empowered to make arrests for any violation of this section without complaint or citation. (Ord. 1457 §2(part), 2015; Ord. 1372 §1(part), 2008; prior code §9.28.010)
9.04.020 Driving over fire hose.
It is unlawful for any person to drive any wagon or vehicle across or over any hose, or to remove or injure any property belonging to the fire department. Any person found guilty of violating any part or portion of this section shall be fined not less than five dollars nor more than twenty dollars, and held liable for all damage done.
