DISORDERLY CONDUCT

9.14.010 Disorderly persons defined and enumerated.

Without limitation to the provisions of RCW 9A.84.030, the following persons are declared to be disorderly persons:

A.    Any person fighting or encouraging others to fight in any public place in the city;

B.    Any person who, by noise or by riotous or tumultuous conduct, disturbs the quiet and peace of the city, or of any meeting or assemblage therein;

C.    Any person who, in a manner or under circumstances likely to cause an assault, uses vulgar, profane, or indecent language or gestures;

D.    Any person who, without lawful authority, intentionally obstructs vehicular traffic;

E.    Any person who, without proper authorization, willfully removes, defaces, injures, or destroys any street sign, or sign erected or placed in or adjacent to any street, which sign indicates the name of the street or serves as a traffic-control device;

F.    Any person who transmits a fire alarm when he knows that there is no fire, or summons police or ambulance on the pretext that an emergency exists if he knows that there is no such emergency;

G.    Any person who urinates or defecates in any public place other than a wash room or toilet;

H.    Any person who suffers or permits in any building or place owned by him or her or under his or her control riotous or disorderly conduct or fighting to the annoyance of the public.  (Ord. 1359 §2, 2007)

9.14.020 Violation--Penalty.

It is illegal to be a disorderly person in the city of Goldendale.  Every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.  (Ord. 1359 §3, 2007)
