COMMUNITY BLOCK GRANT FUND

3.14.060 Disposal on abolition of fund.
3.14.010 Created.
There is created and established a special fund to be known and designated as the community block grant fund, to be used for the purpose of receipting, disbursing and accounting of Housing and Urban Development Community Block Grant moneys. (Ord. 1031 § 1, 1981).
3.14.020 Direction.
The community block grant fund created by this chapter shall be under the direction of the city treasurer. (Ord. 1031 § 2, 1981).
3.14.030 Records.
There shall be kept, by those directed by the city treasurer, such books, accounts and records as are necessary to control and report the financial operations of the community block grant fund. (Ord. 1031 § 3, 1981).
3.14.040 Source.
The source of funds deposited to the community block grant fund shall be from federal grant(s) from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. (Ord. 1031 § 4, 1981).
3.14.050 Unexpended funds.
All moneys deposited in the community block grant fund and not expended as provided in this chapter, shall remain in the fund from year to year, and shall not be transferred to any other fund or expended for any other purpose whatsoever. (Ord. 1031 § 5, 1981).
3.14.060 Disposal on abolition of fund.
If at any time, hereafter, the city council abolishes the community block grant fund, then all money deposited therein shall revert to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. (Ord. 1031 § 6, 1981).
