TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS BUREAU

2.40.010 Created.
There is hereby established, subject to the supervision of the Cascade District Court, a traffic violations bureau under the provisions of Section 9, Chapter 299, State of Washington Session Laws of 1961 (RCW 3.30.090) to receive posting and forfeiture of bail money and assist in the processing of traffic violations in the city of Granite Falls. 2.40.020 Forfeitures – Fines.
The city clerk is directed to deposit all bail, forfeitures, fines, costs and penalties received resulting from violations of the ordinances into the city general fund, and is authorized to pay from the city general fund all court costs and filing fees incurred in cases when actions are filed in Cascade District Court pursuant to this chapter.
