18.12.010 Map on file.
A base map dated October, 1997, to identify the designated wetland area(s) and its projection onto properties that are within the service area is on file with the Kittitas city clerk. (Ord. 99-588 § 1).
18.12.020 Sewer service.
A base map dated October, 1997, will indicate where sewer service is now provided. (Ord. 99-588 § 2).
18.12.030 Tap-in defined.
“Tap-in” means the ability to connect to the main sewer system. (Ord. 99-588 § 3).
18.12.040 Enforcement.
Tap-in-restrictions will be enforced to deny future sewer connections to the system, when verification is not made by applicants to USACE or EPA, that planned improvements to properties requesting connection to the system will be constructed outside the designated wetland area(s). (Ord. 99-588 § 4).
18.12.050 Exclusions.
Exclusions to the tap-in-restriction may be granted to developments which have applied and been accepted for service prior to USDA Rural Development’s commitment of financing for improvements. (Ord. 99-588 § 5).
18.12.060 Application for exception.
Administration of this restriction shall provide for an application for exception to the tap-in restriction, which will be reviewed by the city of Kittitas on a case-by-case basis and forwarded to USACE, EPA or USDA Rural Development or their successors if determined of merit, with intent by the city of Kittitas to ratify the agency’s written decision regarding service as final and binding on any application for which an exception is requested. 18.12.070 Tap-in defined.
“Tap-in” means the ability to connect to the main sewer system. (Ord. 99-589 § 1).
18.12.080 Map designated.
The FEMA 100-year floodplain, as of August 12, 1998, will be used as the base map to determine tap-in-restrictions. (Ord. 99-589 § 2).
18.12.090 Enforcement.
Tap-in-restrictions will be enforced to deny future sewer connections to the system, when verification is not made by applicants, that planned improvements to properties requesting connection to the system will be constructed outside the 100-year floodplain. (Ord. 99-589 § 3).
