SKATE PARK USE

2.120.010 Posted rules.
(1) Be courteous.
(2) Helmets and safety gear are recommended for all.
(3) No scooters, bikes with pegs or any equipment or activity that would cause a danger to others or damage to the park.
(4) No alcohol, drugs or tobacco use, including cigarettes, cigars or chewing tobacco.
(5) No graffiti.
(6) No littering.
Hours of operation: open Monday through Sunday 8:00 a.m. to dusk (closed during school hours).
Skating is a Hazardous Activity. Skate at your own risk. Users are strongly recommended to use helmets and safety protection equipment. The Town of La Conner is not liable for injuries.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS AS SET FORTH MAY RESULT IN FINE, CITATION OR REMOVAL FROM THE PARK.

2.120.020 Enforcement.
(1) First Offense Warning. Anyone engaged in inappropriate behavior may be given a warning.
(2) Second Offense Fine. After being given a warning anyone continuing to engage in inappropriate behavior may be fined $25.00.
(3) Third Offense Removal. A third offense of any of the park rules may result in an additional fine of $50.00 and/or removal from the park with a trespass order banning the individual from any future use of the park.
(4) At the sole discretion of any designee of the town of La Conner, anyone participating in any inappropriate activity causing a danger to others or damage to the park may be fined and/or removed from the park without prior warning. [Ord. 1076 § 1, 2012.]
