5.05.010 Contracting.
The officer now or subsequently holding the position of District Manager, Lake Stevens Sewer District, may enter into any contract with Union Bank, N.A. relating to any deposit which in his or her judgment is to the public advantage. Contracting requirements may include:
(1) Establishing bank accounts and services.
(2) Signing or changing, in writing, agreements with Union Bank, N.A. regarding the District’s bank deposit relationship.
(3) Specifying in writing to Union Bank, N.A. the individuals who are authorized in the name of and on behalf of the District to:
(a) Withdraw funds from any of the District’s banking accounts on the District’s checks or orders.
(b) Endorse and deliver to Union Bank, N.A., for any purposes and in any amount, negotiable or nonnegotiable items of any kind, and owned by, or held by, or payable to the District.
(c) Send, review and/or authorize wire and electronic transfers of funds from the District accounts. Such authority may be exercised by such authorized individual acting alone, regardless of any multiple signature requirements otherwise applicable to the accounts.
(d) Otherwise access the District’s deposit accounts.
This authority shall remain in effect until Union Bank, N.A. receives written notice of revocation at the banking office where the District’s banking relationship is maintained. [Res. 850, 2011.]
5.05.020 Deposit of moneys.
Any money that is deposited by the District with the County Treasurer of Snohomish County will be marked as to which fund the County Treasurer shall deposit said moneys in. [Res. 23, 1965.]
