ENTRY INTO CERTAIN PUBLIC PLACES*

8.08.010 Pool or billiard hall – Cigarette sales – Firearms sale.
(1) Every person who:
(a) Admits to, or allows to remain in, any dance house, public pool or billiard hall or in any place of entertainment injurious to health or morals, owned, kept or managed by him, any person under the age of 18 years; or
(b) Sells or gives, or permits to be sold or given to any person under the age of 21 years any intoxicating liquor, cigar, cigarette, cigarette paper or wrapping, or tobacco in any form; or
(c) Sells, or gives, or permits to be sold or given to any person under the age of 18 years any revolver, or pistol, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(2) It is no defense to a prosecution for a violation of this section, that the person acted, or was believed by the defendant to act, as agent or representative of another.
(3) For purposes of this section, the term “public pool or billiard hall” means any establishment open to the public for the playing of pool or billiards in which any form of intoxicants is served or sold. (Ord. 1146 § 1, 1963; Ord. 1115 § 1, 1962; Ord. 827 § 10, 1941).
