11.24.020 Obstructing streets – Maximum speed.

It shall be unlawful for the directing officer or the operator of any steam, diesel, or electric railway train or car to direct the operation of or to operate the same in such a manner as to prevent or interfere with the use of any street for the purposes of travel for a period of time longer than five consecutive minutes, except that this provision shall not apply to trains or cars in motion other than those engaged in switching. It shall be unlawful to operate a steam, electric or diesel railway train or car at a rate of speed greater than 25 miles per hour within the corporate limits of the city of Marysville.
