Obstructing Governmental Operations

8.12.010 Obstructing a public servant.
Any person who shall, in any statement or report given to a public servant, give a knowingly untrue statement or who shall knowingly hinder, delay or obstruct any public servant in the discharge of his or her official powers or duties shall be guilty of obstructing a public servant. (Ord. 1204 §4(A), 1984).
8.12.020 Resisting arrest.
Any person who intentionally prevents or attempts to prevent a police officer from lawfully arresting him or her shall be guilty of resisting arrest. (Ord. 1204 §4(B), 1984).
8.12.030 Escape.
Any person who escapes from custody shall be guilty of the offense of escape. (Ord. 1204 §4(C), 1984).
8.12.040 Intimidating a public servant.
Any person who by use of a threat attempts to influence a public servant's vote, opinion, decision or other official action as a public servant shall be guilty of intimidating a public servant. For purposes of this section, the term "threat" shall be defined as previously provided in this title. (Ord. 1204 §4(D), 1984).
8.12.050 Harming a police dog.
Any person who wilfully injures, disables, shoots, or kills by any means whatsoever, any dog used by a police officer in discharging or attempting to discharge any legal duty or power of that officer's office shall be guilty of the offense of harming a police dog. (Ord. 1204 §4(E), 1984).
