8.32.010 Polluting and disturbing.
Any person polluting the streams, creeks, springs, or any tributary or tributaries within the area comprising the watershed of the water works system of the city, by committing any nuisance on the watershed, or depositing waste, offal, debris, or any other substance which has a tendency to pollute the water supply in any manner, or who riles or disturbs the waters in any manner, or who cuts any trees of any kind without the permission of the city, shall be guilty of a crime and punished as hereinafter provided. 8.32.020 Enforcement.2
The city council may appoint, and it is authorized to appoint any person as special policemen, or it may appoint the water superintendent or any other officer of the city or its water works system as a special policeman to arrest any and all persons found violating the provisions of this chapter or any of the laws of the state of Washington or rules of the State Board of Health pertaining thereto. (Ord. 624 §2, 1939).
8.32.030 Penalty for violation.
Any person found guilty before the police judge of the city of violating the provisions of this chapter shall be punished as provided in Section 1.08.010. (Ord. 1206 §3, 1984: Ord. 943 §8, 1972:Ord. 624 §3, 1939).
