CITY MANAGER

2.04.010 Powers and duties.
The powers and duties of the city manager, appointed by the city council during the period that the council-manager plan of government is in effect in the city, shall be co-extensive with those powers and duties prescribed by the Revised Code of Washington, and shall further be as set forth in any written employment agreement entered into by and between the city and the city manager. (Ord. 386 § 1, 1981; Ord. 1 § 1, 1953).
2.04.020 Oath – Bond.
Unless express authority to the contrary is hereafter granted by resolution of the city council, the city manager shall devote his full time to the affairs of the city, and before undertaking the duties of such office the city manager shall take an official oath in support of the government of the United States and of the laws of the state and ordinances of the city, and the faithful performance of his duties, and shall execute a bond in favor of the city in such sum as shall have been fixed, from time to time, by the city council. 2.04.030 Compensation.
The city manager shall be compensated for his services to the city in such amounts as shall be set by city ordinance, payable at the times and in the manner prescribed by ordinances of the city, or in such amounts as may be set forth in any written employment agreement entered into by and between the city and the city manager, or by resolution of the city council if so authorized by terms of any such employment agreement.
