HUNTING PROHIBITED

9.250.020 Hunting prohibited – Exceptions.
9.250.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to protect humans, domestic animals, and property from the likelihood of jeopardy resulting from the discharge of firearms or use of bows and arrows or other weapons for hunting purposes within the city. (Ord. 1750 § 1, 2021).
9.250.020 Hunting prohibited – Exceptions.
It shall be unlawful to hunt any animal by firearm as defined in this title, bow and arrow, crossbow, or any means within the city limits. Each individual animal unlawfully hunted, taken, or possessed in violation of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense. This section shall not apply to law enforcement officers, including personnel of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife in the exercise of their official duties.
Any person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 1750 § 1, 2021).
