TEXT AMENDMENTS

19.80.010 Scope.
This chapter shall cover criteria for text amendments, additions or deletions of general application to this zoning code. (Ord. 1555 § 29, 2009).
19.80.020 Review criteria.
(1) The following criteria, along with other relevant issues, must be met in each amendment, addition or deletion to the text, tables and figures of the zoning code:
(a) The amendment must be consistent with the Oak Harbor comprehensive plan;
(b) The amendment must substantially promote the public health, safety and welfare.
(2) An addition or deletion to the text, tables and figures of the zoning code may also be made if such change is needed to clarify the meaning of this zoning code, correct an error, or to add text or issues which should not have been omitted. (Ord. 1555 § 29, 2009).
