1.08.010 Election of council members.

There shall be seven members of the city council, all of whom shall be elected “at large” by vote of the whole city. Such council members shall be residents of the city and shall serve terms of four years. Elections shall be held biennially in odd-numbered years as provided in RCW 29.13.020 so that three of the council positions and the mayor shall be up for re-election in one election cycle and four of the council positions are up for re-election in the alternate election cycle. 1.08.020 Council positions.

There shall be seven council positions designated council position number one through seven and each council position shall be elected at large for four-year terms at the biennial municipal election cycle with three positions elected at one cycle and four positions elected in the alternate cycle as provided above.
