CLERK OF THE BOARD

2.10.010 Appointment.
Pursuant to RCW 36.32.110, the BOCC designates one of its employees to serve as clerk of the board. The clerk of the board shall be directly employed by and serve at the pleasure of the board of county commissioners. (Ord. 2023-17 § 2 (Att. B), 2023).
2.10.020 Duties.
The clerk of the board shall attend all meetings of the BOCC and keep a record of its proceedings consistent with the requirements of RCW 36.32.110 and 36.32.140, as those statutes currently exist and as may be hereafter amended. The clerk of the board shall further perform all duties formerly performed by the auditor as established in RCW 36.22.010(6) as currently exists and as may be hereafter amended, all other applicable statutes prescribing the duties of the clerk of the board, and other duties as may be assigned. 2.10.030 Office hours and contact information.
Normal office hours of the clerk of the board shall be 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The clerk of the board’s office shall be closed Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The clerk of the board can be contacted as follows:
