AGRICULTURAL PEST DISTRICT

2.50.010 Created.
There is hereby created an agricultural pest district consisting of lands within Okanogan County subject to taxation by Okanogan County. (Ord. 95-1 § 1, 1995).
2.50.020 Supervisor – Designated.
There is no agricultural expert as defined by statute present in Okanogan County. Therefore, the commissioners hereby designate the horticultural pest and disease board as the supervisor to perform the duties as set forth in RCW 17.12.060. (Ord. 95-1 § 2, 1995).
2.50.030 Report by the board.
The board shall regularly report to the commissioners as to their activities under this chapter. (Ord. 95-1 § 3, 1995).
2.50.040 Assessment.
A. The agricultural pest district assessment shall be set at $1.50 per commercial orchard acre.
B. The Okanogan County assessor and the Okanogan County treasurer are hereby directed to perform the necessary duties to comply with this section. (Res. 123-95, 1995).
