POLICE DEPARTMENT CRIME PREVENTION FUND

There is created within the police department budget a separate fund to be known as the police department crime prevention fund. (Ord. 1412 § 1 (part), 2014).
3.18.020 Funding.
Funds shall be paid and the same held and administered for this fund as follows:
(a) All carryover moneys appropriated thereto but unspent in the prior year;
(b) All moneys appropriated thereto in the annual budget;
(c) All donations received by the city which are designated by the donor as for any drug, alcohol or crime prevention program purposes; and
(d) Any moneys received by the city in the form of general law enforcement investigation grants. (Ord. 1412 § 1 (part), 2014).
3.18.030 Expenditures.
Funds deposited to this fund shall be used exclusively for funding of publication and dissemination of crime prevention information, and for funding of other crime prevention projects and purposes at the discretion of the police chief. (Ord. 1412 § 1 (part), 2014).
