2.08.010 Offices of clerk and treasurer combined.

The office of treasurer of the city shall be combined with the office of clerk of the city.

The clerk shall exercise all the powers vested in and shall perform all the duties required to be performed by the treasurer, in addition to the powers and duties of clerk. (Ord. 160 §§ 1, 2, 1949)

2.08.020 Salaries of city officers.

A.    The salaries and officers of the city shall be as set forth in the following sections beginning January 1, 1988, and shall remain in effect until such time as the city council shall otherwise provide by ordinance.

B.    Mayor and City Council. The mayor and city council members will receive monthly salaries as follows: mayor, five hundred dollars ($500.00) plus an additional amount up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) for an approved “Mayor’s Monthly Meeting Plan,” consisting of participating and representing the city in meetings and events directly beneficial to the city, submitted to and approved by the council; city council members, seventy-five dollars ($75.00) each month.
