It is unlawful for any person in the city to discharge any air gun, air pistol, sling shot, B.B. gun or other contrivance or mechanical device which expels bullets or projectiles of any kind, except officers engaged in the lawful discharge of their duties or persons in the act of protecting their own persons or property. (Ord. 172 § 1, 1951)
9.04.020 Violation—Penalty.
Any person convicted of violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
