2.22.010 Duties.

It is the duty of the director of public works and building inspector to:

A. Schedule, outline and supervise work of city crew with the crew foreman;

B. Maintain and update city work records and data with the crew foreman;

C. Coordinate projects and maintenance with council or department head on streets, bridges and storm drainage, water and sewer systems, sanitation pickup and refuse dump, cemetery, parks and pool, and city hall and shop;

D. Maintain crew personnel records and provide payroll and time records to the city clerk/treasurer;

E. Purchase materials;

F. Inspect buildings and issue building permits;

G. Coordinate studies, grants, and loans. (Ord. 706, 1993; Ord. 581 §1, 1976).
