9.76.010 Child defined.
As used herein, “child” means any person under the age of eighteen years. (Ord. 539 (part), 1792; Ord. 476 §1, 1960).
9.76.020 Adult defined.
As used herein, “adult” means any person over the age of twenty-one years. (Ord. 476 §2, 1960).
9.76.030 Public place defined.
As used herein, “public place” means any street, alley, sidewalk, restaurant, cafe, tavern, or public dance hall. (Ord. 476 §3, 1960).
9.76.040 Night hours defined.
As used herein, “night hours” means the hours between 10:30 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., provided that as to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of any week, night hours mean the hours between midnight Friday and 4:00 a.m. Saturday and midnight Saturday and 4:00 a.m. Sunday. (Ord. 476 §4, 1960).
9.76.050 Child in public places.
It is unlawful for any child to be or remain in a public place during night hours unless under the supervision of an adult. (Ord. 476 §5, 1960).
9.76.060 Adult permitting child in public places.
It is unlawful for any adult having the custody or control of a child, to knowingly permit the child to be in a public place during night hours unless such child is at such times under the supervision of an adult. (Ord. 476 §6, 1960).
9.76.070 Violation – Penalty.
Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $25.00 or more than $100.00 or not more than thirty days in jail, or both, no part of which shall be suspended. (Ord. 476 §7, 1960).
