20.208.010 Duty of owner.
It shall be the duty of every owner, agent, lessor or occupant of every house or other buildings which are part of the same property with a numbered house or building to place on such building its proper street number. Such numbers shall be placed on such house or building within 30 days from the time the owner, agent or occupant receives written notice from the city addressing technician of the numbers assigned to the house or building. 20.208.020 Placement of numbers.
Street numbers, as provided in this chapter, shall be either affixed in metal, wood, decals or painted on, in such a manner that the numbers are clearly visible from the street which the house or building faces during daylight and nondaylight hours. The numbers shall be not less than three inches in height and shall be a contrasting color from the color of the building to which they are affixed; and shall be affixed above or to the side of the entrance of house or building. If the entrance is not clearly visible from the street, the numbers shall be placed in such a manner as to be clearly visible from the street. (Ord. 019-17 § 18 (Exh. 1)).
20.208.030 Violation – Penalty.
Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a civil infraction and may be punished by a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $100.00. (Ord. 019-17 § 18 (Exh. 1)).
