4-4-120 STORAGE LOTS – OUTSIDE:

A. SCREENING REQUIRED:

Outside storage lots shall be effectively screened by a combination of landscaping and fencing along the perimeter.

1. Landscaping: A minimum of ten feet (10') landscaped strip is required between the property lines along public rights-of-way and the fence. The landscaping shall be of size and variety so as to provide an eighty percent (80%) opaque screen.

2. Fencing: The entire perimeter must be fenced by a minimum of an eight foot (8') high sight-obscuring fence. Gates may be left unscreened for security purposes.

B. SURFACING:

Storage areas may be surfaced with crushed rock or similar material subject to the approval of the Development Services Division to minimize dust, control surface drainage and provide suitable access. (Ord. 3653, 8-23-1982; Ord. 5100, 11-1-2004)
