4-5-101 INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE ADOPTED:

The 2021 Edition of the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), as adopted by the State Building Code Council in chapter 51-52 WAC, as published by the International Code Council, excluding Chapter 1, Part 2, Administration and Enforcement, is adopted by reference. The Construction Administrative Code, as set forth in RMC 4-5-060, shall be used in place of IFGC Chapter 1, Part 2, Administration and Enforcement. Provided, that detached and two (2) family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three (3) stories high with separate means of egress and their accessory structures shall comply with the International Residential Code. Provided, that the standards for liquefied petroleum gas installations shall be the 2020 Edition of NFPA 58 (Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code) and the 2021 Edition of ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 (National Fuel Gas Code).
