9.09.020 Medical cannabis – Affirmative defenses.

The state of Washington, by enactment of Chapter 69.51A RCW, has recognized the medical benefits of prescribed cannabis and has legalized medical cannabis use when appropriately prescribed and obtained. The city of Richland hereby adopts Chapter 69.51A RCW as it currently exists or as it may be amended in regard to legalized medical cannabis and any affirmative defenses therein. [Ord. 2023-16 § 1].
