FAST RIDING OF HORSES – PROHIBITED

5.28.010 Fast riding or driving of horses and untrained or dangerous animals – Prohibited – Penalties.
Every person who shall ride or drive any horse or horses or other animal or animals, in any street, alley, or any public highway or upon any public grounds within the corporate limits of the city of Ritzville, in a fast or immoderate manner, at a greater rate than 10 miles per hour, or who shall ride any horse or horses or other animal or animals not trained for the purpose of riding within the corporate limits aforesaid; or who shall drive any horse or horses or other animal or animals not trained for the purpose of driving, within the limits aforesaid; or who shall bring upon the street or other highway within the corporate limits aforesaid any horse or horses, animal or animals, which may endanger the life and limbs or persons upon the streets or other public highways, shall be deemed to have committed an infraction punishable in accordance with RCC 1.02.010, General penalty.
