COMMERCIAL PARKING

8.28.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to prevent parking of all vehicles on Smitty’s Boulevard and on a portion of Division Street except for purposes of making deliveries in the regular course of business. (Ord. 767 § 1, 1986).
8.28.020 Locations.
No vehicles shall be allowed to park on the following streets within the city of Ritzville, except for purposes of making deliveries in the regular course of business:
A. All of Smitty’s Boulevard;
B. That portion of Division Street south and east of the south line of Lot 15, Golf and Country Club Addition, extended across said Division Street. (Ord. 767 § 2, 1986).
8.28.030 Authority to install signs.
The city public works director is authorized and directed to cause to be installed appropriate signs giving notice of the prohibition against parking provided for in this chapter. (Ord. 767 § 3, 1986).
8.28.040 Penalty for violation.
Any vehicle found parked in violation of the provisions hereof after installation of appropriate signs shall be impounded and the registered owner and/or operator of such vehicle shall be responsible for all costs of such impoundment. (Ord. 767 § 4, 1986).
