7A.14.010 Game fish.

All laws, rules and regulations of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife relating to season, limits, and methods of fishing are applicable to fishing for game fish in City of Sammamish park areas and associated marine areas. No person may fish for or possess any fish taken from any dam, dike, bridge, dock, boat launch, or beach, which is posted with a sign prohibiting fishing. Any person violating provisions of this rule shall have committed a civil offense. (Ord. O2021-531 § 3 (Att. A))

7A.14.020 Shellfish and food fish.

All laws, rules and regulations of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife relating to season, limits, and methods of taking are applicable to the taking of shellfish or food fish in City of Sammamish park areas and associated marine areas, and in addition to such laws, the department may, upon its finding and for good cause, close certain City of Sammamish park areas and associated marine areas to the taking of shellfish for specific periods of time. Such closed areas shall be posted with appropriate signs. Any person violating provisions of this rule shall have committed a civil offense. (Ord. O2021-531 § 3 (Att. A))

7A.14.030 Posted fishing rules.

Parks users must obey all posted rules for fishing in City of Sammamish park areas or associated marine areas. Any person violating provisions of this rule shall have committed a civil offense. (Ord. O2021-531 § 3 (Att. A))

7A.14.040 Fishing pots.

No person may secure or attach a fishing pot used for the harvest of shellfish or fish to a park dock within a City of Sammamish park area or associated marine area. Any person violating provisions of this rule shall have committed a civil offense. (Ord. O2021-531 § 3 (Att. A))
