COUNTY CEMETERIES

2.72.030 District number three.
2.72.010 District number one.
The territory within the meanderings of the shoreline of San Juan Island, San Juan County, is duly organized as a cemetery district under the name “San Juan County cemetery district number one.” (Res. 46-1950. Formerly 2.52.010)
2.72.020 District number two.
Stuart Island shall be organized into a cemetery district to be known as “cemetery district number two”, legally described as:
Stuart Island is legally described as being an island located in Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 29, 33, 34 and 35, Township 37 N, Range 4 WWM all in San Juan County, Washington.

2.72.030 District number three.
A portion of Orcas Island shall be organized into a cemetery district to be known as “San Juan cemetery district number three”, legally described as follows:
Orcas Island is legally described as being an island located in Section 36 in T37N, R3WWM; and Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 all in T37N, R2WWM; and Sections 30, 31 all in T37N, R1EWM; and Sections 1, 12, 13 all in T36N, R3WWM; and Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 all in T36N, R2W; and Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 10, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21 all in T36N, R1WWM, all in San Juan County, Washington.
The following portions of Orcas Island are excluded from the cemetery district:
Beginning at a point in Section 26, Township 37 North, Range 2 West, W.M., which is due south of the North Shore Road extended and which is the southeast corner of Eastsound Precinct No. 1 and the true point of beginning, Reference Point A.
Thence east along the centerline through Section 26 and Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 West, W.M., and continuing thence east along the centerlines through Sections 30, 29, and to the center of Section 28, all Township 37 North, Range 1 West, W.M.
Thence north along the centerline of said Section 28 and to the center of Section 21.
Thence east from the center of Section 21 along the centerline through Section 22 to a point in Sections 23, Township 37 North, Range 1 West, W.M., which is the southeast corner of the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of said Section 23, Township 37 North, Range 1 West, W.M.
Thence north to the San Juan County/Whatcom County boundary line, a distance of approximately 4 miles, Reference Point B.
Thence returning to the point of beginning, Reference Point A.
Thence southeasterly along the centerline of East Sound Channel to the intersection of Peavine Pass.
Thence northeasterly along the centerline of Peavine Pass to the San Juan County/Whatcom County boundary line.
Thence northerly along the westerly boundary of the San Juan County/Whatcom County boundary line to Reference Point B.
