The sections of this chapter are hereby adopted in table form in which each row of the table represents a separate section in which the titles of the adopted statutes are listed in the first column and the reference to their corresponding RCW section numbers are listed in the second column. Copies of the adopted code sections of this chapter are on file in the city clerk’s office. Each of the referenced provisions of the RCW in this table, as now in effect or as hereafter amended, is hereby adopted by reference as if fully set out herein to be a part of the Sedro-Woolley Municipal Code as crimes against public order:

9A.84.010 Fighting in a public place.
A. It is unlawful for any person to intentionally fight with another person in a public place.
B. In any prosecution under subsection A of this section, it is an affirmative defense that:
1. The fight was duly licensed or authorized by law; or
2. The person was acting in self-defense.
C. As used in this section, “public place” means an area open to the general public and includes streets, sidewalks, bridges, alleys, plazas, parks, driveways, parking lots, automobiles (whether moving or not), and buildings open to the general public including those which serve food and drink or provide entertainment, the doorways and entrances to buildings or dwellings, and the grounds enclosing them.
D. A violation of this section is a misdemeanor. (Ord. 2069-24 § 1, 2024)
