SKAGIT COUNTY PORT DISTRICTS

6.32.010 Port District of Skagit County.
6.32.010 Port District of Skagit County.
Port District of Skagit County is declared to be duly organized.
Said district shall include all of the geographical area of Skagit County, EXCEPTING therefrom the area comprising the “Port of Anacortes” which is described in Chapter 6.32.020 of this Title.
Said Port District of Skagit County shall be divided into three (3) Port Commissioners Districts as follows:
The first Commissioner District shall include the City of Mount Vernon, Precincts No. 1 to No. 20; and the Precincts of Riverside, Skagit, Fir, Mountain View, Cedardale, Conway, Milltown, Big Lake, McMurray, Montborne, Mansford and the No Precinct area between Montborne and Mansford.
The second Commissioner District shall include the City of Burlington Precincts Eand, Central, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest; and the Precincts of North LaConner, South LaConner, Dodge Valley, Harmony, Ridgeway, South Avon, McLean; the portions of Whitney, North Avon, South Allen, Bay View and Bessner not included in the Port of Anacortes; and Edison, North Allen, Ovenell, Gages, Mapes, Hamburg, Gear, Sterling, West Clear Lake, East Clear Lake, and Tingley and the No Precinct area East of Tingley precinct to Baker and Mansford Precincts.
The third Port Commissioner District shall include all Sedro-Woolley Precincts, Ward 1, Precinct 1, to Ward 6, Precinct 2, inclusive; that portion of Blanchard Precinct not included in the Port of Anacortes; and the Precincts of Bow, Lookout, Belfast, McRae, Hoogdal, Prairie, Batey; Van Fleet, Norlum, Skiyou, West Lyman, East Lyman, West Hamilton, East Hamilton, Birdsview, Baker, West Concrete, East Concrete, Sauk, Rockport and Cascade. 6.32.020 Port of Anacortes.
Port of Anacortes is declared to be duly organized.
The boundaries of said district are hereby established as follows:
Beginning at a point in the N boundary line of Skagit County, said point being 1 mile W from the NW corner of Township 36 N, R 3 E.W.M., and running thence S to the meander corner between Sections 25 and 26, Township 36 N, R 2 E.W.M., on the N shore of Samish Island; thence in a general E and S direction along the meander line to its intersection with the S line of Township 36; thence W along said S line to the meander corner on the shore of Padilla Bay; thence in a general N and W direction along the meander line of Samish Island to the meander corner between Sections 27 and 28, Township 36 N, R 2 E.W.M., on the S shore of Samish Island; thence S 58° 43′ W, a distance of 1105.5′; thence S 8° 00′ E, a distance of 17,000′ to a point on the N end of Hat Island; thence S 33° 00′ E, a distance of 13,000′; thence due S to an intersection with the centerline of the navigable channel of Swinomish Slough; thence S and W along the centerline of said Swinomish Slough and of the channel connecting said slough with Saratoga Passage to the SW boundary of Skagit County; thence W, N and E along the boundary of Skagit County to the place of beginning.
Said district being further described as:
All docks, buildings and other personal property situated on the W 1/2 of “Q” Avenue N of meander line, situated in Anacortes, Skagit County, Washington.
Said district also described as:
Commencing at the point of intersection with the line common to Sections 5 and 6, Township 36 N, R 3 E.W.M., with the N boundary line of Skagit County; thence running S along the line common to said Sections 5 and 6 and the extension thereof which shall be construed as the line common to Sections 7 and 8, 31 and 32, in Township 36 N, R 3 E.W.M., upon the line common to Sections 5 and 6, Sections 7 and 8, Sections 17 and 18, Sections 19 and 20, Sections 29 and 30, of said Township to the point common to Sections 29, 30, 31 and 32, in said Township, thence E along the line common to Sections 29 and 32 and Sections 28 and 33 in said Township to the point common to Sections 27, 28, 33 and 34 of said Township; thence S along the line common to Sections 33 and 34 of said Township to the S boundary of said Township; thence continuing S in Township 34 N, R 3 E.W.M., along the line common to Sections 3 and 4, and Sections 9 and 10 in said Township to the point common to Sections 9, 10, 15 and 16 in said Township; thence W along the line common to Sections 9 and 16, Sections 8 and 17 and Sections 7 and 18 in said Township to the W boundary of said Township 34 N, R 3 E.W.M.; thence continuing W in Township 34 N, R 2 E.W.M., along the line common to Sections 12 and 13 and Sections 11 and 14 in said Township to the intersection with the line of midchannel of Swinomish Slough.
