LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICTS

6.72.010 Lake Management District No. 1.

Skagit County Lake Management District No. 1 for Big Lake as proposed in Resolution of Intention No. R20220093 is hereby created.

(1) Rates and charges for Skagit County Lake Management District No. 1 for Big Lake will be included in Skagit County’s annual property tax statements. Properties that do not receive a property tax statement will receive a separate billing statement for these rates and charges.

(2) Tax interest and penalties on delinquent property taxes (as detailed on the tax statement) will also apply to the Lake Management District No. 1 special assessment included in the statement.

(3) A $4 fee per parcel per year will be charged by the Treasurer’s Office according to RCW 36.29.180 for handling, collecting and accounting for the special assessments. (Ord. O20220009; Ord. O20120006; Ord. R20020203; Ord. 16884, 1998: Ord. 16785 (part), 1997)

6.72.020 Lake Management District No. 2.

Skagit County Lake Management District No. 2 for Lake McMurray as proposed in the Resolution of Intention No. R20190032 is hereby created.

(1) Rates and charges for Skagit County Lake Management District No. 2 for Lake McMurray shall be included in Skagit County’s annual property tax statements. Properties that do not receive a property tax statement will receive a separate billing statement for these rates and charges.

(2) Tax interest and penalties on delinquent property taxes (as detailed on the tax statement) will also apply to the Lake Management District No. 2 special assessment included in the statement.

(3) A $4 fee per parcel per year will be charged by the Treasurer’s Office pursuant to RCW 36.29.180 for handling, collecting, and accounting for the special assessments. (Ord. O20190003; Ord. O20090007: Ord. 17767, 2000; Ord. 17698, 1999)

6.72.030 Lake Management District No. 3.

Skagit County Lake Management District No. 3 for Lakes Erie and Campbell as proposed in the Resolution of Intention No. R20200070 is hereby created.

(1) Rates and charges for Skagit County Lake Management District No. 3 for Lakes Erie and Campbell will be included in Skagit County’s annual property tax statements. Properties that do not receive a property tax statement will receive a separate billing statement for these rates and charges.

(2) Tax interest and penalties on delinquent property taxes (as detailed on the tax statement) will also apply to the Lake Management District No. 3 special assessment included in the statement.

6.72.040 Lake Management District No. 4.

Skagit County Lake Management District No. 4 for Clear and Beaver Lakes as proposed in the Resolution of Intention No. R20170050 is hereby created.

(1) Rates and charges for Skagit County Lake Management District No. 4 for Clear and Beaver Lakes will be included in Skagit County’s annual property tax statements. Properties that do not receive a property tax statement will receive a separate billing statement for these rates and charges.

(2) Tax interest and penalties on delinquent property taxes (as detailed on the tax statement) will also apply to the Lake Management District No. 4 special assessment included in the statement.
