11.12.010 Erecting stands on the right-of-way of County roads—Prohibited.

11.12.020 Pea silage stacks—Location on County rights-of-way restricted.
The purpose of this section is to eliminate the practice of locating pea silage stacks in close proximity to County roads and rights-of-way. Such practice has heretofore resulted in a softening of the surface and sub-surface of County rights-of-way, danger to the traveling public from collapse of pea silage stacks, and traffic congestion from the loading and unloading of pea silage from or onto motor vehicles located on or near County roads or rights-of-way.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, co-partnership, or corporation to cause or permit the storage of pea silage or the erection of pea silage stacks on property owned by said persons, firm, co-partnership, or corporation unless the same shall be located or stored not less than twenty (20) feet from the edge of any County right-of-way, or not less than fifty (50) feet from the center of any County road.
Any person, firm, member of a partnership, or corporation violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a civil violation and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five-hundred dollars ($500.00). (Ord. 1463, 1953; 25 CJ 325)
