PAYMENT OF CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS

3.32.010 Payment of claims or obligations of the city.

Pursuant to RCW 35A.40.020, payment of claims or obligations of the city shall be by check. The city officers authorized to sign checks shall be the mayor, city administrator, administrative services director, financial services manager, financial services coordinator and public works director, with two signatures required. The city council shall, by resolution, motion or other appropriate method, designate a qualified public depository whereon such checks are to be drawn. (Ord. 2484 § 1, 2014: Ord. 2370 § 1, 2011)

3.32.020 Payment of claims or obligations of the municipal court trust account.

The city officers authorized to sign checks issued from the municipal court trust account shall be the municipal court judge, city administrator, administrative services director, court administrator, financial services manager and financial services coordinator, with two signatures required.
