CROSSWALKS

10.28.010 Marked crosswalks established.
There is hereby established a “marked crosswalk” as defined in RCW 47.04.010(15) on:
A. 1. Second Street between Western Avenue and the alley easterly thereof, which divides Blocks 2 and 3, townsite of the city of Tonasket;
2. First Street between Western Avenue and the alley easterly thereof, which divides Blocks 1 and 2, townsite of the city of Tonasket;
3. The purpose of these crosswalks is to provide a safe pedestrian crossing between North Valley Hospital and the North Valley Hospital business office and between North Valley Nursing Home and the medical clinic situated northerly across the street therefrom;
B. Fourth Street at the east end of the Fourth Street Bridge;
C. Fourth Street at its westerly intersection with Henderson Way;
D. Henderson Way at its intersection with Fourth Street. (Ord. 562 § 1, 1999; Ord. 555 §§ 2, 3, 4, 1999).
10.28.020 Markings.
Said crosswalks shall be distinctly indicated for pedestrian crossing by lines or other markings on the surface thereof. (Ord. 562 § 2, 1999; Ord. 555 § 5, 1999).
