3.13.040 Transfers to and from agency funds.

Unless otherwise prohibited by state law, regulations of the Division of Municipal Corporations of the Office of the State Auditor, the Walla Walla Municipal Code, or other ordinances or resolutions of the Walla Walla city council, transfers may be made to an agency fund established by this chapter from budgeted appropriations in any city fund or from an agency fund by order of the city manager or the city treasurer for the purposes of such approved appropriations. 3.13.050 Claims clearing fund.

There is created and established a “claims clearing fund” into which may be paid moneys, from time to time, from any funds which are available and upon which checks may be issued in payment of lawful claims against the city. The accounts of the city shall be so kept that they shall show the department or departments and the respective amounts to which the payment is properly chargeable and for which the check is issued and paid. (Ord. 99-6 § 16 (part), 1999).

3.13.060 Payroll clearing fund.

There is created and established a “payroll clearing fund” into which may be paid moneys, from time to time, from any funds which are available and upon which checks may be issued in payment of salaries, wages, and pensions due city employees. The accounts of the city shall be so kept that they shall show the department or departments and the respective amounts to which the payment is properly chargeable and for which the check is issued and paid. (Ord. 99-6 § 16 (part), 1999).

3.13.070 Special deposit fund.

There is created and established a “special deposit fund” into which may be paid moneys, from time to time, which are held by the city on behalf of other agencies or parties, and upon which checks may be issued for amounts payable to such other agencies or parties for any lawful purpose. The accounts of the city shall be so kept that they shall show the amounts received, held, and paid and the party or agency from which payment was received, the party or agency for which amounts are held, and the party or agency to which the payment is made.
