12.06.010 Definitions.
For the purpose of this chapter, “maintained city streets” shall mean that portion of a city street maintained by the city of West Richland for public travel, which extends from the curb or the bottom of the ditch or fill slope or from three feet from the edge of the paved portion of the street, as applicable, on one side of such right-of-way to the curb or the bottom of the ditch or fill slope or from three feet from the edge of the paved portion of the highway on the other side of such right-of-way.
For the purpose of this chapter, “irrigation water” shall mean water applied to land by artificial means such as sprinklers, diversion or hoses. [Ord. 4-89 § 1, 1989].
12.06.020 Irrigation water on city streets.
No person, firm or corporation shall cause or permit any irrigation water to fall upon any maintained city street or portion thereof in the city of West Richland. [Ord. 4-89 § 1, 1989].
12.06.030 Violations – Penalties.
Any person, firm or corporation found to have committed a violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed to have committed an infraction, and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $250.00. [Ord. 42-95 § 8, 1995; Ord. 4-89 § 1, 1989].
