AMUSEMENT GAMES AND DEVICES

5.10.010 Annual license fee.
The annual licensing fee for amusement games and devices consisting of, but not limited to, flipper machine, music machines, pool tables or games of skill for a for profit organization shall be as set forth by resolution. A nonprofit, 501C, Internal Revenue Code, shall be exempt. [Ord. 2004.18 § 1, 2004; Ord. 2003.10 § 2, 2003].
5.10.020 Term.
The licensing fee shall be renewable on the first of July of each year. [Ord. 2003.10 § 3, 2003].
5.10.030 Notice of renewal.
The Town Clerk/Treasurer shall send notice of renewal to each license holder by the first day of June of each year. [Amended during 2014 codification; Ord. 2003.10 § 4, 2003].
5.10.040 Revocation.
Failure to pay by the first of July of each year shall result in a revocation of the license wherein the party will be required to remove the amusement games and/or devices. [Ord. 2003.10 § 5, 2003].
5.10.050 Violation – Penalty.
Failure to remove games and devices, when annual licensing fee has not been paid, shall result in a misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of ninety (90) days incarceration and/or one thousand dollar ($1,000) fine. [Ord. 2003.10 § 6, 2003].
