6.01.010 King County agency designation.

The King County Animal Control Department is designated by this reference as the agency authorized to enforce the animal control regulations inside the City limits per the interlocal agreement between King County and the City. (Ord. 658 § 2 (Att. A), 2021)

6.01.020 Animal control officer.

King County animal control officers shall be utilized for the enforcement of this chapter and these officers shall include any individuals employed, contracted or appointed by the animal control authority for the purpose of aiding in the enforcement of this chapter or any other law or ordinance relating to the licensing, control or seizure and impoundment of animals. Any State or municipal peace officer, sheriff, constable or other employee in such position shall also have authority to enforce the regulations of this chapter or any other applicable law or ordinance relating to the regulation of animals in the City.
