1.12.010 Criminal violation--Penalty.
A. Unless otherwise provided, any person violating any of the provisions or failing to comply with any of the mandatory requirements of this code, or any rule or regulation adopted by the Town Council pursuant thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Except in cases where a different punishment is prescribed by this code, any person convicted of a misdemeanor shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five thousand dollars or imprisonment for a period of not more than one year or by both such fine and imprisonment.
B. Enforcement under this section, or any criminal enforcement, proceedings or sanctions of any code provision, is in addition to and does not preclude or limit any other forms of enforcement available to the Town, including, but not limited to, actions for injunctions, or any other civil or equitable actions to abate, discontinue, correct or discourage unlawful acts in violation of this code.
C. Each day or portion of a day during which a violation occurs or exists is a separate violation. (Ord. 17-578 § 1 (Exh. A (part)), 2017: Ord. 194 § 1, 1987)
