VIOLATION--PENALTY

14.56.010 Violation--Penalty.
A. It is unlawful for any person to build, erect, construct, alter, rebuild, renovate, enlarge, expand, activate, operate or maintain any building, structure or use within the town in violation of the provisions of this title.
B. If the Building Inspector finds any building or structure being constructed in violation, he may order the work stopped by notice in writing to persons engaged in the violation, such notice to be posted on the premises. All work shall stop until authorized to proceed by the Town Building Official.
C. Any person so violating this title shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed one hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not to exceed thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
D. Each day that a violation is continued shall be considered as a separate offense. (Ord. 202 § 11.03, 1987)
