18.24.010 Adopted.
That certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk/treasurer being marked and designated as an “International Mechanical Code,” as published by the International Code Council and as amended by Chapter 51-52 WAC, is adopted as the code of the city for regulating the design, construction, quality of relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators or other miscellaneous heat-producing appliances in the city providing for the issuance of permits. 18.24.020 Appeal of decisions.
Whenever the building official denies a permit applied for under the International Mechanical Code, or if the applicant claims that the provisions of the International Mechanical Code were not applied appropriately, the applicant may appeal the decision to the hearing examiner, as provided in Chapter 18.14 YMC.
