(a) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 66.30, Wis. Stats., and other provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes, the village of Arena joins with the villages of Black Earth and Mazomanie, and such other municipalities as the commission shall determine, to project, plan, construct, and maintain intercepting and other main sewers for the collection and transmission of residential, industrial, and other sewerage, and to protect, plan, construct and operate disposal works, and to accomplish said purposes, a body corporate under a joint sewerage commission, hereinafter referred to as the sewerage commission.

(b) Membership. The village of Arena shall appoint two members to the joint sewerage commission created, to be appointed by the village president, and approved by the village board.

(c) Powers and Duties. The powers, duties, terms of office, manner of selection of members, and other operations of the sewerage commission shall be as provided in Wisconsin Statutes and as approved and agreed by the village boards of the municipalities joining in joint sewerage commission.
